It's the end of the transfer already!! These past six weeks have flown by, especially this last week, because we were super busy! We taught a lot of lessons, we had several service projects, we had skills and interviews, and we went on exchanges with our Sister Training Leaders.
We
had a really cool lesson this week with our investigators who are deaf.
We've been struggling to figure out a way to teach the Plan of
Salvation simply, but this week, we were finally able to make it through
the entire plan while teaching it simply so they can understand. It was
so amazing! At the end, we invited them both to be baptized, and they
both accepted the invitation. It was such a powerful lesson!
Exchanges
this week were super fun! Sister Hunter stayed in Brockville with
Hermana Mousley, and I went to Oshawa with Hermana Smith. We had such a
busy day, but it was so much fun. We pulled some weeds for an elderly
lady in their ward, we talked with some really neat people, and we
taught some lessons to some really amazing people. I learned so much
from Hermana Smith! The hard part about exchanges in Brockville is our
Sister Training leaders live over three hours away from our area, so
we spend a lot of the exchange driving. I think we spent almost eight hours
in the car in two days! :)
I
had my first Skills and Interviews yesterday. Skills and Interviews is a
zone activity where a couple of the companionships do instructions and
you also get interviewed by the mission president and his wife. Sister
Hunter and I gave one of the instructions on setting people with
baptismal dates. It was really cool, and we learned a lot from the other
missionaries.
Love,
Sister Dille
